DUDE. Dude. I'm lassiterfics over on livejournal and I LOVE YOUR REMIX OF "BIG SKY COUNTRY" HOLY SHIT. It is BEAUTIFUL! You've captured it, the harshness of the desert and the ghosts of the past andandand fjdsa'lg;k'g;df omg awesome! I am especially fond of the second paragraph for its BEAUTIFULNESS, and was that a Massive Attack/Sinead reference?? yay! I'm so glad you liked it. I spent an insane amount of time trimming it down to 500 words... I wanted to keep writing and writing and writing in that 'verse. *smile* You'd given me a lot of interesting metaphor to work with. was that a Massive Attack/Sinead reference? No... at least not a conscious one! I don't think I've ever heard the song before, but the lyrics fit nicely, don't they? The thoughts that make you blue The things that bring you down Only do harm to you So make your choice joy The joy belongs to you ... Hi, Olivia, Don't you have anything of your own left floating around on the 'net? I came looking for that post-apocalyptic Sam/Dean story you wrote (the one where Sam had edged over the limit of sanity) that was deleted off LJ awhile ago, but I see that you're not posting anything here. I really wish you would. It would be such a shame to lose these stories-- I'm in search of shortfics to rec today, and you're one of the micro-writers I know of who can reallydeliver a punch in a small wordcount. :( (Reply to this) (Thread)
